Seasons Lakewood is seeking a friendly, dependable Part-Time Evening Cashier to be the face of our store. You will provide fast, accurate checkout service and ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience in a welcoming Kosher environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, scanning items, handling various payment methods, balancing cash, and keeping the checkout area organized. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Prior cashier or retail experience preferred but not required.

Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Part-Time Evening Cashier to join our team at Seasons Lakewood. As a part-time Evening Cashier, you will be the face of our store and the last interaction customers have before leaving. You will be responsible for providing fast, accurate, and courteous checkout service while ensuring every customer has a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Accurately scan merchandise and process customer purchases.
• Accept cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards, EBT, and other approved payment methods.
• Count back change accurately and balance your cash drawer.
• Bag groceries carefully while protecting delicate and perishable items.
• Answer customer questions and direct customers to the appropriate department when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
• Follow all company cash-handling, security, and loss prevention procedures.
• Verify identification for age-restricted purchases in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
• Assist with returns, exchanges, and price checks following company procedures.
• Work closely with supervisors and fellow associates to keep checkout lines moving efficiently.
• Perform other front-end duties as assigned.
