Evening Caregiver, Part-Time (CNA Required)

Join us as an Evening Caregiver, Part-Time (CNA Required) at MBK Senior Living.

Located in Salt Lake City, UT, our community is hiring a Caregiver to provide compassionate assistance to our residents in their daily activities.

Job Details

Shift: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Job Summary

The Caregiver assists residents with activities such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, transportation, and personal care, always maintaining dignity and respect, and following all policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Respond promptly and kindly to resident needs while respecting their dignity (50%)
2. Follow care plans to ensure proper care (10%)
3. Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, and mobility (20%)
4. Support residents during mealtimes and transport (6%)
5. Perform safety checks and encourage participation in activities (2%)
6. Document resident information accurately and communicate changes immediately (4%)
7. React swiftly to resident alerts and emergencies (3%)

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or over with proper work authorization
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Nurses Aid certification preferred
• Current first aid certification
• Background and health screening requirements
• Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English; follow directions

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds and push 150 pounds unassisted
• Capable of kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead, and bending
