Deer Crest Senior Living in Red Wing, MN is seeking a caring Resident Assistant / Caregiver for the Evening Shift to provide hands-on daily care and support for residents in our assisted living and memory care communities. No prior medication administration experience is required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of caregiving or related experience required.
• Ability to use technology (computers, handheld devices, cell phones, and fax machines).
• Under 18 must be MN NA registry compliant if restricted from certain tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on daily care and daily living assistance to seniors.
• Administer medications or assist with administration under RN direction.
• Monitor vital signs and document changes in resident condition.
• Assist with meals, dining services and hydration.
• Support mobility, transfers and safe transfers with assistance as needed.
• Complete housekeeping, laundry, and respond to emergencies.
• Observe, report concerns and collaborate with care team for quality care.
• Promote resident independence with dignity and safety.
