Job summary

Qualifications

• Age 18+ or valid work permit
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Nurses Aid certification preferred
• Current first aid certification
• Background clearances as required by regulations
• Health screening and negative TB test within last 6 months
• Must read and speak English
• Ability to follow directions and work with diverse residents

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident needs while maintaining dignity and safety
• Follow care plans to ensure proper care
• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene and meals
• Assist with mealtime and serving duties
• Transport residents safely to meals and activities
• Perform regular safety checks
• Encourage participation in daily activities
• Lead residents in meaningful activities
• Assist with laundry and other duties
• Manage oxygen tanks per MD orders
• Document information and report changes to supervisor
• Respond to resident alerts and emergencies
• Ensure safety during drills
