Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Caregiver for the night shift (Fridays and Saturdays, 10:00 pm – 6:00 am). You will assist residents with daily living activities, maintain dignity, and deliver hospitality-driven care in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred, on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident needs promptly while respecting dignity, safety and confidentiality.
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care.
• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, hygiene and meals.
• Provide assistance at mealtime with selecting meals, serving, and clearing.
• Transport residents safely to activities, meals, or other needs.
• Perform regular safety checks on residents.
• Encourage participation in daily activities and meaningful engagements.
• Handle laundry and assist with community duties as assigned.
• Manage oxygen tanks and concentrators per MD orders.
• Document information and report changes to supervisor immediately.
• Respond to resident alerts and assist with safety drills.
