Visiting Angels Webster Groves is seeking an Evening Caregiver to join our team and enhance the quality of life for clients in the Webster Groves area. You will deliver compassionate in-home care, assist with daily activities, and support clients with meals, mobility, and safety in their homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid training and emergency response readiness are required (provided if needed).
• Good time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties is needed.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at scheduled times.
• Physical endurance for activities like carrying groceries and assisting clients.
• Willingness to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willing and able to comply with state and office health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten clients' days.

Responsibilities

Role

As a Visiting Angels Evening Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

Evening Caregiver Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
