Job summary

Visiting Angels Webster Groves is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for 12-hour shifts in the Chesterfield area to support seniors with daily living tasks and mobility. Training is offered and staff provide home care in the St.

Louis region, including nearby communities, under the Visiting Angels model of compassionate elder care. Responsibilities include medication assistance, mobility support, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid preferred.
• Physical endurance and ability to handle caregiving tasks.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

• Pay: $14.00-$16.00/hour based on experience.
• Hoyer Lift experience preferred
