Job summary

The University of New Mexico is seeking a Student LoboLift Driver to provide evening campus transportation for UNM students on Central Campus. You will operate an electric cart, assist with safe, friendly service, and help keep ride logs organized.

The role offers flexible scheduling around classes, with opportunities to gain experience in safety and transportation operations while representing the university.

Qualifications

• Must be a current UNM student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
• Must have a valid New Mexico driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work evening shifts between 6 p.m. and midnight.
• Comfortable driving small electric vehicles and follow traffic and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and represent the University.
• Must complete UNM Defensive Driving Training prior to operating a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an assigned LoboLift Cart to transport students across campus.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a positive, professional attitude.
• Respond promptly to dispatched ride requests.
• Conduct basic vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
• Report safety, maintenance, or incident concerns to your supervisor.
• Maintain simple ride logs or digital trip records as directed.
