Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel Lake Buena Vista is seeking a friendly dining service team member to welcome guests and ensure a welcoming dining experience.

You will greet guests, maintain a clean buffet and dining area, and keep stations stocked while upholding food safety standards and Drury hospitality values.

What you will do:

• Make our complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback “happy hour” … well, happy for our guests.


• Ensure exceptional, positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests.


• Greet guests at the buffet and dining area with a friendly, welcoming attitude.


• Assist with maintaining the buffet area by ensuring food stations remain clean, organized, and properly stocked.


• Wipe and clean tables throughout service to maintain a neat and inviting dining environment.


• Monitor the dining area and promptly address spills, messes, and other cleanliness needs.


• Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained.


• Answer guests’ questions using knowledge of the hotel, surrounding area, and events.


• Provide courteous, friendly service and promote a positive guest experience with a +1 Service attitude.


• At the end of service, thoroughly clean the dining and buffet areas, including sweeping and mopping floors.


• Maintain a high standard of integrity, hospitality, and teamwork while supporting the Drury culture with guests and co-workers.
