Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a courier to deliver and return blood products to internal and external customers. You will follow safety policies, wear protective equipment, and ensure accurate order verification and loading procedures.

Standard schedule Monday–Friday, 4:30PM–1:00AM, with pay of $16.00–$17.00 per hour plus weekend/afternoon/night differentials. A valid driver’s license and a clean DMV record are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle for the delivery of blood products and materials safely.
• Verify orders, load vehicles, and maintain route inventory for timely delivery.
• Document storage and transportation of blood and materials per regulations.
• Provide courteous customer service and positive interaction with customers.
• Maintain vehicle condition, cleanliness, and check fluid/gas levels.
• Provide shipping and receiving support as directed.
