Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Laboratory Assistant with phlebotomy responsibilities to support Blood Services-BDMC. The role includes specimen collection, processing, and entry into testing workflows under supervision.

You will assist with waived and moderate complexity testing when qualified, maintain quality control, and help manage supplies and inventory. Excellent communication and accuracy are essential in this team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy/CLA certification as defined by state regulations.
• DHS Fingerprinting Certification or ability to obtain it.
• Valid state driver's license where employment is located.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare patient samples including collection and identification.
• May perform waived and moderate complexity testing under supervision.
• Maintain QC, troubleshoot testing and document deviations.
• Assist with inventory and supplies to support department operations.
• May include phlebotomy duties and staff training.

Education
