Courtyard by Marriott – Newark-Granville, OH is seeking a full-time Bistro Associate for the second shift with weekend availability. You will help guests in the Bistro, prepare Starbucks beverages, made-to-order food, and alcoholic drinks, while delivering friendly, upbeat service in a Marriott environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or food & beverage preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old; 21 to serve alcohol.
• Strong communication and guest-first attitude.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Food Handler’s Permit and/or Alcohol Server’s Permit if available.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding service professionally and engagingly.
• Take guest orders, process transactions accurately, and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Prepare Starbucks beverages and ensure quality and presentation standards.
• Follow food & beverage procedures to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with opening/closing duties, restocking, and cleaning work areas.
• Operate POS system, handle cash/credit transactions, balance drawers.
• Uphold Courtyard by Marriott standards for guest satisfaction and service.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth daily operations.
