Job summary

Sonesta is seeking an energetic Beverage Server for evenings at a Houston hotel. You will take orders, serve beverages, handle payments, and maintain bar/lounge areas with a high level of guest service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires TABC and Food Handlers certificates, plus strong communication and math skills. Full-time hours include evenings; benefits and perks are provided.

Qualifications

• Must meet city/state minimum age to sell/serve alcohol.
• Food Handler certification required.
• TABC certification required; TIPS encouraged where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders and serve guests in a fast-paced bar/lounge.
• Process payments via cash, credit, or room charges.
• Set tables and station side work; maintain area cleanliness.
• Close cashier reports and prepare daily totals.
• Assist guests and direct them to hotel facilities as needed.
