Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Behavioral Technician for evenings in St. Louis. The role provides hands-on support to adults with chronic mental health conditions in a supervised residential setting.

You’ll use strength-based strategies to promote wellness, independence, and recovery on a daily basis. This full-time position requires CNA experience, CPR/First Aid, CPI, and Medication Level I Aide certification, with evening hours Tue–Sat.

Qualifications

• High School/Equivalent Required
• At least one year of experience as a CNA, in social/human services, and/or experience working with adults with chronic mental illnesses required
• Must obtain and maintain certification in CPR, First Aid, CPI and Medication Level I Aide

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily living skills like cooking, budgeting, hygiene, and medication education
• Encourage wellness and recovery goals through coaching and compassionate care
• Help clients access community resources and services
• Monitor individual progress and provide documentation after each shift
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care
• Support discharge planning, crisis response, and transitional services as needed
