Job summary

ABS Kids in Utah is seeking Behavior Technicians for the 3:00pm–7:00pm shift. Prior RBTs encouraged; on-the-job training available. You will work one-on-one with children, using play-based ABA to build real-life skills in a supportive environment.

No experience? We’ll teach you. The role offers an hourly wage with a $1,000 RBT bonus and benefits including paid RBT certification, mileage reimbursement, 401(k) with match, PTO accrual, and growth opportunities within the program.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Ability to demonstrate patience and a calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to engage in play-based ABA activities.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Willingness to learn data collection software and basic office tools.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child!
• Use play and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social and emotional skills.
• Move up and down off floor often, move quickly.
