Job summary

The Holiday Inn Fargo, part of Brandt Hospitality, seeks a friendly full-time bartender for the Spirit's Lounge. You will work evenings, crafting cocktails and serving guests with a focus on hospitality in a fast-paced hotel bar environment.

You should be comfortable handling payments via POS, maintaining bar stock, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Prior bartending experience and knowledge of safety and regulations are beneficial. Hotel discounts and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Ability to mix common cocktails.
• Understanding of food safety regulations.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy trays and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and respond to inquiries in a timely, friendly manner.
• Check IDs and serve alcoholic beverages per laws and regulations.
• Present menu and make drink/food recommendations.
• Mix and garnish beverages according to recipes.
• Present and serve beverages to guests.
• Total, process, and collect payments via POS and handle cards and vouchers.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of the bar area.
• Work with hotel team to deliver a memorable service experience.
