Job summary

The Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel is seeking a dependable Substitute Barback to support bartenders and ensure smooth bar operations on a temporary basis. Located in Manhattan, the role requires you to stock, clean, and organize bar areas while assisting with setup, breakdown, and keg replacement.

Ideal candidates will have hospitality or bar experience, with on-the-job training available. You must lift up to 50 pounds and work nights, weekends, and holidays per the shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will have previous experience in hospitality or bar settings.
• On-the-job training may be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Restock liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes and bar supplies daily.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar and maintain cleanliness.
• Replace kegs, prep garnishes, and organize storage areas.
• Run food for all bar orders and support bartenders as needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures and respond to guest requests.
