Marlowford in Front Royal, VA is seeking an auto technician to join our service team. You will perform repairs and inspections, diagnose systems, and communicate with customers and the service advisor to ensure high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an auto technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and services per repair orders and policies.
• Test components and systems; conduct road tests as needed.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Provide information to customers via Service Advisor; complete inspection reports.
• Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Complete online multi-point inspection report
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have at least2 years of experience as an auto technician
• Have knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Must be a fast learner
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Must be a team player
• Must be computer literate
• Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have a High School Diploma
