The position requires an active Texas RN license and prior charge nurse/supervisory experience in long-term care, with strong English communication. Evening shift; full-time with competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the applicable state (Texas).
• Minimum of two years charge nurse and supervisory experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise day-to-day nursing care in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Ensure treatments, medications, and nursing services align with care plans and orders.
• Participate in annual evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Lead weekly/monthly committees and ensure relevant policy adherence.
• Conduct frequent rounds to monitor nursing service performance.
• Document and report patient health changes promptly to physicians and families.
• Coordinate with Director of Nursing Services and healthcare teams.
