Job summary

Loomis AB in the United States is hiring an Armed Vault Teller to maintain vault inventory and support Loomis customers. The role requires lifting heavy loads, standing for most of the shift, and meeting firearms licensing requirements.

The position offers a full-time schedule, typically Mon–Fri, with shifts starting at 1:30pm and running to about 11:30pm. You’ll work with a team to ensure accurate counting, sorting, and reporting, while communicating with colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand for long periods on concrete.
• Must meet State handgun license/permit or Security Officer Commission requirements.
• Read and speak English sufficiently for receipts, manifests and reports.
• Ability to sign and record numbers by hand and to make entries on records.

Responsibilities

• Verify bags and seals against receipts/manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers.
• Load/unload wagons with bags/boxes of coin.
• Sort cargo items by route.
• Communicate with co-workers and customers by phone.
