Job summary

UC Health is hiring a full-time Anesthesia Technician Assistant for the anesthesia department on second shift at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. Under licensed anesthesia providers, you assist in monitoring patients and preparing drugs, fluids, anesthesia and equipment for operative procedures.

You will operate and maintain patient care monitors and anesthesia equipment, support routine setup and troubleshooting, and help maintain inventory and sterile supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months of health care experience required.
• Basic knowledge of anesthesia gas machine.

Responsibilities

• Assists licensed anesthesia providers in clinical settings such as the OR, OB, PACU, ICU, and other listed areas.
• Sets up and operates anesthesia delivery systems and monitors; troubleshoots as needed.
• Maintains a sufficient inventory of equipment and supplies; cleans and sterilizes routine anesthesia equipment and supplies.
