2200 Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst, IL seeks an Anesthesia Tech to join the perioperative team. The role supports pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, equipment setup, and room turnover, ensuring efficient anesthesia services.

Requires a high school diploma or associates degree, with up to 1 year of related experience or an associate’s degree with no clinical experience; physical ability to lift and move heavy objects is needed. On-call duties include weekends and holidays.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or an Associates Degree.
• Experience: 1 year in Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or EMT, or an Associate’s Degree with no clinical experience.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures.
• Prepare and set up pre-operative, pre-procedure supplies and equipment; turnover rooms.
• Audit, stock and maintain anesthesia supply stations; calibrate POC equipment; high-level sterilization and documentation.
• Provide basic equipment troubleshooting.
• Order supplies via Lawson Material Management System.
