Job summary

Allied Health is seeking an experienced Anesthesia Tech for an on-site, 1-year contract in Rochester, NY. The role supports anesthesia providers, prepares equipment, monitors, and maintains supplies to ensure smooth case flow across cardiac, vascular, and trauma surgeries.

Must have at least two years of experience and a BLS certification. Duties include equipment setup, troubleshooting, on-call coverage, and collaboration with clinicians to meet daily needs.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech.
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the care of patients undergoing anesthesia under limited direct supervision.
• Prepare anesthesia equipment prior to patient arrival and ensure cleanliness of equipment.
• Set up medications and supplies where applicable and ensure equipment availability.
• Communicate with anesthesiologists and clinicians to meet daily needs.
• Assist in advanced procedures and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment as required.
• Provide on-call coverage as needed and support the shift supervisor.
