• Know standard janitorial methods, equipment, and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work of custodians and leads; inspect areas daily.
• Evaluate performance; submit disciplinary actions and reports; counsel staff.
• Hold daily staff briefings on key topics.
• Identify training needs and arrange training.
• Maintain records and prepare reports and correspondence.
• Ensure coverage and compliance with management directions.
• Investigate tenant/customer complaints and check cleanliness.
• Train staff on cleaning methods, equipment, and safety.
• Assist with coverage during call-offs and schedule trainings.
• Support customer satisfaction and report to upper management.
• Maintain proper labor relations and employment conditions.
