Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a talented Hourly Assistant Manager for full or part-time roles with strong afternoon/evening availability. In this role you will lead a dynamic team, oversee operations, ensure food quality and customer service, and promote community engagement across our bakery and cafe offerings.

The successful candidate will demonstrate resilience, respect, and readiness, manage scheduling and inventory, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and help grow career

Qualifications

• 1+ year of fast paced restaurant/retail leadership experience
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Experience with meeting operational goals, & thinking beyond what has already been done to create a better experience for teams & customers
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic team who will offer unique menu selections from scratch baked bread & pastries to soups, salads, & sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients
• Schedule and inventory management and ensuring consistent & exemplary customer service experiences
