Job summary

Bauer Built, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Heavy Duty Tire Technician in Omaha, NE. Starting pay is $18-$20 per hour, with weekly pay and benefits.

You will inspect tires, mount and balance tires using specialized equipment, communicate with customers about concerns, and ensure proper torque and safe handling of tires and equipment while meeting customer expectations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong tire inspection skills.
• Able to troubleshoot tire-related issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and handle on-call duties.
• Knowledge of tire types, sizes and repair techniques.
• Able to lift and handle tires up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed tire inspections to identify damage, wear patterns, and performance concerns.
• Mount and balance tires using specialized equipment with proper installation techniques.
• Communicate with customers to understand tire-related concerns and provide recommendations.
• Ensure proper torque settings when mounting tires to wheels.
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
• Manage time effectively to prioritize service calls and shop tasks.
• Follow safety protocols when handling heavy tires and equipment.
• Respond promptly to on-call service requests for tire repair, replacement, and installation.
