Roles and Responsibilities:

The Evendale Security Patrolman will provide plant-wide security services to enforce company and plant rules and regulations. Responsibilities include protecting life and property, preventing unauthorized entry, theft, controlling traffic, crowd control at events, and assisting in emergencies.

Essential Responsibilities

• Control pedestrian flow at gates, check IDs, and inspect packages for contraband or theft.
• Inspect vehicles entering or leaving the perimeter gates for authorization, weapons, or harmful substances, and audit vehicle contents as directed.
• Patrol all buildings, parking lots, fence lines, and grounds as instructed.
• Report violations of plant rules, regulations, and protection of classified information in accordance with regulations.
• Understand and follow all security instructions, policies, and procedures to handle situations effectively.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum of 5 years of military or security-related experience
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance

Desired Characteristics

• Other security experience (e.g., private security)
• Excellent physical condition to perform full job duties
