Amerit Fleet Solutions in Baltimore, MD is hiring an EV Technician/Automotive Mechanic (Electric/Autonomous Vehicle) to service and retrofit electric vehicles in our fleet. This full-time position offers $38.00-$48.00 per hour with weekly pay and benefits within 30 days.

Qualifications

4–8 years hands-on automotive maintenance experience.
Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, A/C and AV/EV systems.
Experience with hardware retrofits and AV hardware replacement.
Valid driver's license.
Proficiency with hand/power tools and shop equipment.
Strong computer skills and tech aptitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork.
Safety-conscious with high-quality workmanship.
Able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Service, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and integrated systems of EV/AVs.
Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues and AV subsystems.
Perform hardware retrofits and AV hardware replacements.
Apply software/firmware updates and document work.
Collaborate with engineering/service teams to troubleshoot.
Create repair orders and record diagnoses, procedures, parts used.
Contribute to fleet-wide hardware/software retrofits.
Follow safety protocols and ensure quality workmanship.
Pursue ongoing training to stay current with AV tech.
