Job summary

PACCAR, a leader in commercial vehicles, is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern for Kenworth Division to support the development of electric vehicle systems. You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers on design, integration, and validation, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree with good academic standing.
• Junior or senior standing preferred for eligible internship candidates.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to ensure quality EV designs and system integration.
• Follow project management processes to maintain schedule and functionality.
• Ensure reliability and quality across components and systems.
• Analyze system needs to influence architecture designs.
• Develop engineering specifications for new vehicle control functions (including autonomous features).
• Collaborate with cross-divisional teams on global design direction.
