Job summary

Harbinger is seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our EV-focused team in California. You will perform high-precision fabrication and machining, including CNC setup and CAD/CAM programming, to support prototype development and tooling creation.

Ideal candidates bring automotive fabrication experience, a keen eye for detail, and strong problem-solving skills. This on-site role emphasizes safety, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience as Fabricator or Machinist, preferably in the automotive industry.
Proficiency reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC setup/operation.
Familiarity with GD&T and precision tolerances.
Welding or machining certification a plus.

Responsibilities

Fabrication & Machining: high-precision fabrication of components per design specs.
Vehicle Prototypes: assist in development and fabrication with engineering.
Manufacturing Tooling: design and maintain tooling/fixtures.
Equipment Operation: operate CNCs, lathes, mills, welding equipment.
Process Optimization: improve fabrication processes to boost efficiency.
Problem Solving: troubleshoot machining and fabrication challenges.
Equipment Expansion: help expand shop capabilities with new tech.
Collaboration: work with engineering/production to integrate parts.
