Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. is seeking a Prototype Technician - Electrical to support the build, modification, testing, and evaluation of prototype vehicles and systems.

This role collaborates with engineering and technical teams to assemble wiring harnesses, perform diagnostics, and assist with vehicle development activities in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have hands-on automotive electrical experience, ability to read schematics, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and drawings.
• Proficient with electrical diagnostic tools and shop equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Support prototype builds, rebuilds, and component modifications.
• Assemble prototype vehicles and components from engineering drawings and layouts.
• Build, modify, and maintain prototype vehicles and systems.
• Fabricate parts from drawings and specs as required.
• Install electrical and mechanical components on prototype vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive electrical and related systems.
