Job summary

Lucid Motors in California is seeking a Prototype Build Technician to help develop and commercialize state‑of‑the art electric vehicles. You will build automotive prototype vehicles, systems, and subsystems and work closely with design engineers to anticipate assembly and service issues.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Automotive Technology or ASE certification, 2+ years as a Luxury Automobile Technician, and a willingness to work overtime and travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automotive Technology or ASE Certification.
• Willing to work overtime, weekend, etc...
• Ability to travel
• Proof of excellence in your past position, while demonstrating profound creativity in resolving mechanical problems
• 2+ years Luxury Automobile Technician experience
• You bring your own professional automotive toolbox

Responsibilities

• Build state‑of‑the‑art automotive prototype vehicle, systems, and subsystems
• Work closely with Design engineers and identify potential assembly and service issues
• Work efficiently within a multidisciplinary cooperative environment
