Job summary

Astemo Ltd. leads procurement activities for xEV programs from sourcing through production launch. The role interfaces between the Business Unit and Purchasing to ensure program execution and achievement of commercial targets.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering/Business/SCM or equivalent, 5+ years in related roles, and strong cost analysis and project management skills. Some international travel may be required; cross-functional collaboration is key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or SCM or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in purchasing, sourcing, program management, or supply chain.
• Travel to suppliers and Astemo locations; some international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Purchasing, BU and suppliers to achieve program objectives.
• Support program launch readiness for purchased parts and cost targets.
• Develop BOM price targets with Design/Cost Eng to support new business.
• Track cost reduction proposals and recover cost targets when at risk.
• Plan activities and master timing schedules to meet program milestones.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with suppliers, Purchasing, SQE, and Engineering.
