Job summary
IndyGo is seeking an Electric Vehicle Supervisor in Indianapolis, IN to oversee maintenance of electric buses and related equipment. You will manage represented staff and ensure safety, efficiency and reliability of the fleet.
The role is full-time, non-exempt and onsite, with a pay range of $33.65 to $36.08 per hour. Required are EV maintenance and high‑voltage systems experience, plus a technical education. IndyGo offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Formal trade school training or an associate degree in automotive technology or a related field.
- Three years of vehicle maintenance experience, preferably in a union environment.
- One to two years experience with electric vehicles and high‑voltage systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and oversee electric vehicle maintenance work orders.
- Coordinate maintenance and project schedules for the department.
- Ensure safe, efficient maintenance of electric vehicles and rolling stock.
- Supervise maintenance staff and enforce safety policies.
- Maintain documentation and report on EV programs weekly.
