Job summary
Harbinger in California is seeking a Sales Engineer to partner with our commercial sales team, translating complex EV platform capabilities into practical customer solutions.
You will lead technical discussions, demonstrations, and proposals, work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Service, and Sales, and support pilots, launches, and industry events, in a fast-moving startup environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Sales Engineering or related customer-facing technical roles.
- Strong understanding of automotive and electrification technologies.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales throughout the customer journey, from discovery through vehicle delivery.
- Lead technical discussions, product demonstrations, and customer presentations.
- Understand customer operations and recommend vehicle configurations.
- Serve as the technical expert on Harbinger’s vehicle platform, charging solutions, and applications.
- Develop technical proposals, respond to customer requirements, and support RFPs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges and capture customer feedback.
- Support pilot programs, customer launches, dealer training, and industry events.
