Job summary

Hallcon Corporation in Fremont, CA is seeking a Bus Maintenance Mechanic to service and repair motor coaches and commercial vehicles, including EV and diesel fleets. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain buses with various equipment and documentation practices. Training and certifications are provided.

Preferred schedule is Thurs through Mon, 5pm–1:30am, with opportunities for advancement and paid training programs in OEM, EV, SAE, and related areas. A valid Class B license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general mechanic principles and servicing practices.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and service manuals.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and software.”
• Ability to perform strenuous activity and work a night schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures on motor coaches and fleets.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Operate servicing equipment such as jacks, hydraulic hoists, and battery chargers as directed.
• Perform routine and complex repairs; replace or exchange parts as needed.
• Inspect engines, transmissions, hydraulic and electrical systems for problems.
• Assist in more complex repairs to gain skills.
• Respond to field service requests and repair equipment in the field.
• Maintain service records and complete paperwork.
