Job summary

Teklabs Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Validation Engineer in Seattle to lead the testing and commissioning of electrical systems for advanced charging infrastructure.

You will design and execute tests, interpret results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and reliability. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in EE, 5+ years in electrical validation, and hands-on experience with EVSE, AC/DC power, and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical systems integration, validation, testing, or commissioning.
• Hands-on experience with EV charging infrastructure (preferred), AC/DC power systems, and power supplies.
• Experience developing, reviewing, and executing electrical test plans and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
• Proficiency using oscilloscopes, power analyzers, multimeters, and data logging equipment.
• Familiarity with Python and/or MATLAB for data analysis and automation.
• Strong technical writing and reporting skills.

Hands-on experience working with:

• EV charging infrastructure (preferred)

Experience commissioning or validating high-voltage electrical systems.

Prior experience supporting laboratory operations or validation test environments.
