Job summary

Pacific Power Solutions is seeking an EV Field Service Technician responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of EV charging infrastructure across multiple sites. This role ensures high system uptime, safe operations, and reliable customer-facing charging performance.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, support commissioning, and document results in CMMS. Travel between sites is required; work independently with a strong focus on safety and

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in electrical field service or EVSE maintenance.
• Experience with EV charging infrastructure strongly preferred.
• Electrical apprenticeship or trade school completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on EV charging stations.
• Troubleshoot and repair EVSE electrical, mechanical, and communication issues.
• Conduct commissioning support for newly installed EV charging systems.
• Test and verify operation of chargers, including voltage, continuity, and signaling.
• Replace components including connectors, cables, displays, boards, relays, and breakers.
• Support firmware updates and connectivity validation.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site protocols.
• Document service reports and test logs in CMMS.
