Job summary

Search Consultancy is seeking an EV Chargepoint Installer — a domestic electrician role in the Guildford area. The package includes a £45,000 basic salary with a productivity bonus and OTE around £55,000, plus a company van, fuel card and benefits.

You will install and maintain EV charging points, working to high safety standards and customer-focused service. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in domestic electrical work, BS 7671 compliance, and a full UK driving licence.

• BS 7671:2018, 18th edition compliance.
• Minimum of 2 years electrical experience in domestic environment.
• Full UK driving licence.

You will be responsible for installing and maintaining the network of EV Charging Points, in a localised area, while representing the company in a professional manner. Customer engagement and service are as important in this role as the technical skills to complete the installations. A keen attention and focus on Health and Safety is also paramount for our installers.

• - Be fully competent with completing electrical certificates using digital software
• - An understanding of the current regulations and a focus to always remain compliant
• - Able to follow safe working procedures.
• - Excellent customer services skills, with a friendly manner and effective communication skills.

It is essential that the candidate has the following skills:

• - Installation and termination of SWA cable
• - BS 7671 :2018, 18th edition
• - Minimum of 2 years Electrical Experience in domestic environment
• - Full UK Driving Licence

Ideally you will have:

• -Experience of 3 phase initial verification, inspection and testing
• - City and Guilds EV installation 2919 or equivalent.
