Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Ability to use a frame machine and interpret measuring data.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification is preferred.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair efficiently.
• Communicates repair status with teammates.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and trim to access panels and fenders.
• Participates in safety meetings and quality checks.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures as needed.
