Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding to De Soto, Kansas, building the world’s largest lithium‑ion battery factory. The Production Supervisor will lead safe, efficient shift operations in a high‑volume 24/7 environment, driving Lean initiatives and SQDCP performance, while developing a high‑performing team.

The role requires experience leading production teams, adherence to SOPs/SWIs, and strong problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline required; relevant work experience may substitute.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to Standardized Work Instructions (SWIs).
• Plan and assign work schedules and priorities for team members.
• Drive Lean manufacturing and 6S initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
