Job summary

AutoNation in San Francisco is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair electric vehicles and autonomous fleets. You will document repairs, perform inspections, and collaborate with Waymo and AutoNation teams to ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires automotive experience; EV knowledge is a plus, with hybrid or EV training preferred. A valid in-state driver's license and tools are required.

Qualifications

• Two+ years automotive experience.
• Electric Vehicle experience is a plus.
• Hybrid or EV training appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on electric vehicles.
• Inspect and set up autonomous fleet vehicles.
• Document repairs in service platform.
• Collaborate with AutoNation and Waymo teams to improve processes.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on the production floor.
• Provide guidance to technicians and communicate parts needs.
