Independent Automotive Repair Shop in Pinole, CA is seeking an experienced B- or A-Level Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair European, Asian, and domestic vehicles. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 40 hours per week, hourly pay with no flat-rate pressure, and a collaborative team environment.

The shop emphasizes quality repairs, work-life balance, and a supportive ownership culture. Prior European vehicle expertise and dedicated personal tools are required.

Qualifications

• Professional automotive repair experience for B- or A-Level technician.
• Strong mechanical repair skills and ability to independently perform repairs.
• Experience diagnosing electrical, engine performance, and drivability issues.
• Experience servicing European, Asian, and domestic vehicles.
• Personal tools required.
• Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and repair quality.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues on European, Asian, and domestic vehicles.
• Troubleshoot check engine lights and engine performance using diagnostic equipment.
• Perform general repairs including brakes and transmission work.
• Complete routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive services.
• Use scan tools to identify concerns and determine repairs.
• Perform component removal and replacement with quality workmanship.
• Communicate findings to the service advisor and collaborate with technicians.
• Maintain repair documentation and a safe shop environment.
