Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Director of Country & Site Operations (CSO), Europe, to lead operational excellence across European countries for clinical trials. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years in clinical development or clinical operations.
• Experience leading clinical operations across multiple countries or sub-regional cluster.
• Experience managing people or matrix teams with leadership and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, regulatory guidance for clinical trial conduct.

Responsibilities

• Partner cross-functionally to align country and site strategies with trial planning and execution.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for trial execution across assigned European countries.
• Lead, coach and develop CCSLs and country/site operations resources.
• Represent CSO in country engagements and affiliate leadership relationships.
• Provide country, site, and operational intelligence to study teams and leadership.
• Support country/site and enrollment planning through evidence-based recommendations.
• Support governance and continuous improvement of the CSO operating model.
