Job summary

Commonwealth Motors in Lawrence, MA is seeking flat-rate technicians to service VW, Audi, Mercedes, and other European vehicles. This family-owned shop offers learning opportunities, high earnings, paid training, and a competitive benefits package.

You will diagnose, repair, and test-drive vehicles, adhere to dealership standards, and collaborate with the Service Advisor. A strong automotive background and a valid driver's license are required, with room for growth within the team.

• Experience with VW/Audi or other European brands preferred.
• Strong automotive background and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, diagnose components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• VW or Audi highly welcomed

• Must have clean & valid driver's license
