Job summary

Promotive in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced European automotive technician to work on Porsche, BMW and Mercedes‑Benz vehicles. The role emphasizes advanced diagnostics, major mechanical repairs, electrical work and coding/programming with a strong production focus.

Two pay tiers exist: B+ $30–$35 per flagged hour and A $35–$50 per flagged hour, plus a guaranteed 30 hours weekly and biweekly pay. This is a Monday–Friday hybrid position with paid training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, drivability and mechanical repair skills.
• European or German vehicle experience preferred, esp. Porsche, BMW or Mercedes-Benz.
• Ability to independently diagnose concerns and recommend repairs.
• A or B+ level technicians with paid training and union-like benefits.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose concerns and own vehicles from diagnosis to repair.
• Perform advanced electrical, drivability and mechanical diagnostics on European cars.
• Conduct thorough inspections and identify needed repairs.
• Estimate labor time, build parts lists and determine repairs.
• Perform major mechanical repairs including engines and transmissions.
• Complete coding and programming repairs as needed.
• Communicate findings clearly with owner and team.
• Ensure workmanship from start to finish.
