Job summary

Bybit, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, seeks a Vienna-based compliance lawyer to develop and implement regulatory programs under MiCAR, MiFID, and PSD II. You will perform risk assessments, monitor EU and Austrian laws, and collaborate with teams to ensure compliance and training.

The role is based in Austria, Vienna. You will work in a fast-paced, high-integrity environment, supporting licensing processes and regulatory submissions while communicating in German and English.

Qualifications

• Law degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of legal experience.
• Experience in Austria and/or Germany preferred.
• Strong German and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs to meet MiCAR, MiFID, and PSD II requirements.
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits; propose corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and training.
• Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory reports and documentation.
• Support obtaining and maintaining licenses and regulatory approvals in Austria.
