Job summary

Bybit is seeking a senior internal audit professional to lead planning and execution of audits across European operations. You will deliver high-quality audits, drive project delivery, and contribute to continuous improvement under the Head of Internal Audit (EU).

The role is hands-on, requiring fieldwork, reporting, and close collaboration with regulators and cross-functional teams to strengthen controls in a fast-paced crypto environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in internal audit or risk/control functions within financial services, fintech, or crypto.
• Strong knowledge of Austrian and EU regulatory frameworks.
• Hands-on auditing capability and willingness to roll up sleeves.
• Professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CAMS, ICA, etc.) are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk-based internal audits across finance, operations, compliance, IT, and cybersecurity.
• Support Head of IA in developing the internal audit framework and annual plan for Bybit EU.
• Collaborate with Global IA team to align standards and methodologies.
• Coordinate with co-sourcing partners and ensure timely remediation of findings.
• Monitor compliance with MiCA, MiFID II, GDPR, AMLD, DORA, EMI frameworks and emerging risks.
