Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Counseling or Human Services or a Bachelor's with related experience.
• Experience using a variety of computer applications.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and provide services to TRIO eligible middle and high school students.
• Provide educational, career, college, financial literacy and financial aid information.
• Offer academic support and advising, individually and in groups.
• Resolve problems of program participants using advocacy and assistance.
• Collect data for program and USDE reports and maintain records.
• Collaborate with school personnel and other organizations to support student success.
• Attend seminars, staff meetings and workshops.
• Organize college visits, job site tours and experiences for participants.
• Establish contact with parents via workshops, meetings, email and phone.
• Complete additional administrative tasks.

Education

Master's degree in Education, Counseling or Human Services

Bachelor's degree with 4 years related experience
