Cambridge Rindge & Latin School Community: Cambridge Rindge & Latin School (CRLS) is a comprehensive high school divided into four Learning Communities designed to promote high levels of learning and achievement for all students. Honors courses are offered in all core classes (English, History, Mathematics, and Science); Advanced Placement (AP) courses are available to qualified students in grades 11 and 12.

The Opportunity :
The Health, Physical Education, and Wellness (H/PE) Department seeks a passionate and skilled Adaptive Physical Education Teacher to join our team. This position reports to both the Coordinator of Health and Physical Education and the building principal or Upper School Head. The Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Teacher will deliver instruction aligned with the Adapted Physical Education National Standards (APENS), SHAPE America National Physical Education Standards, and the Massachusetts Comprehensive Health Curriculum Framework. This teacher will apply department-approved strategies to support the physical skill development of students with disabilities and will provide specially designed instruction in both inclusive and separate physical education settings. The APE Teacher will collaborate closely with general education, special education, physical education, and related services staff to ensure students with disabilities achieve positive outcomes.
